Digital Crisis Plan
Created by Matthew Mettler and Dillon Buck
The purpose of this app is to help the user manage their symptoms and guide them through their mental health and substance abuse recovery. The app provides the user with a way to reach out to their sponsor, trusted friends, and various national hotlines, keep track of their triggers (and what to do when triggered), their wellness tools (things to do make the user feel good), their daily maintenance techniques, and as a way to guide the user through their symptoms when they're not feeling well and not sure what to do.
This app was made in order to have a digital crisis plan with me wherever I go; I have used other paper crisis plans during my mental health and substance abuse recovery, and I liked the idea, but carrying around a 60+ page booklet was infeasible.
All data saved through this app is private to the user. I cannot see anything you do, it's all saved locally on your phone. In addition, the permissions are there since the In Crisis portion is able to make phone calls on your behalf, and also let you add Trusted Friends through your contacts list. If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me.
Thank you for using our app!
